Our client is a UK-based Service Development organisation. They offer a service management application which enables teams across the globe to connect and collaborate effectively.
Role
As an Instructional Designer, you’ll be adept at designing and creating technical and conceptual learning content that engages learners and helps them achieve their goals. You’ll work closely with the Head of Product – Elearning to help translate the company’s vision into high-quality learning experiences against curriculum specifications. You’ll be well-versed in gathering diverse materials from a variety of sources and distilling them into structured learning resources. You will advocate for the learner by promoting innovative learning design that is not limited by a specific tool or approach.
Person
The successful person will be:
- (MUST HAVE) Experienced working with a software development firm, SaaS provider, or technical customer education environment. Alternatively, having a Computer Science degree before a career in Instructional Design would make you eligible for this role.
- Providing end-to-end production of high-quality learning materials and curricula, including conducting learning analysis, writing design documents and storyboards and scripts.
- Creating learning content in a variety of formats, including videos, articles, walk-throughs, and job aids.
- Working on instructional design guidelines, standards, and templates.
- Collaborating with a range of SMEs to gather source content and conduct review sessions from across the business.
- Designing and producing course assessments that help ensure learning objectives can be measured.
- Contributing to maintaining learning content, ensuring content is kept up to date.
- Reviewing and improving, with guidance, the effectiveness of learning content.
