Instinct is working with a leading education body who work to provide exceptional education programmes to professionals in a specialist sector. They are currently undergoing a global institutional transformation to take many of their business areas to the next level; including their learning platform solution. Having gone through the process of procuring Canvas, they are now seeking a Canvas Platform Specialist to assist in leading the migration journey over the next 12 months.
The responsibilities of the role will include:
- Managing and prioritising the backlog for the development team
- Configuring the platform to support new product launches, including oversight of end-to-end and beta testing
- Maintaining the day-to-day operations required for stakeholder and customer support, including managing staff access and permissions on the platform
- Collaborating with other Product Managers and Business Analysts to recommend compelling solutions and using cases that solve critical business problems and improve user experience
- Negotiating cross-functional platform dependencies
- Analysing potential LTI integrations and tools, as well as managing the approval and procurement process
- Collaborating with IT managers and more to align and prioritise key technology drivers
- Defining and enhancing the platform with a continuous improvement mindset
- Providing high-level platform orientation, training, and support for business users
The ideal candidate will have experience with the above and:
- High level experience of Canvas
- Previous experience supporting new product launches
- Familiarity providing external customer support, granting staff access, permissions etc
- Ability to assess for future integrations, LTI’s what’s on the market, what’s a good tool etc
Aside from the security of a long-term contract, this role offers a competitive daily rate, and the opportunity to lead a high level VLE migration project on a strategic level.
