UAT Lead (User Acceptance Testing Lead for Canvas VLE)

Instinct is working with a well-esteemed client in the higher education sector who are league table leaders in many fields of subject specialism and are deemed a top-ranked place to both work and study. They are currently undergoing a significant technical VLE migration to Canvas, and are looking for a UAT Lead to join the team and support in managing the UAT process to ensure all implementations, integrations, and customisations meet the functional needs of the end users.
The successful candidate would be tasked with establishing timescales, planning resources, writing UAT scripts and scenarios, coordinating and managing the testing process. Aside from this, the post holder would be responsible for managing and maintaining stakeholder relationships, conducting final sign-off and writing reports, and working towards continuous improvement for the platform and overall user experience.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience UAT testing
- Hands on Canvas experience (significant understanding of it’s functions, best practices etc.)
- Experience writing UAT scripts with key business stakeholders
- Able to manage defect triaging, prioritise issues, and work closely with development teams to resolve them.
- Experience consolidating feedback from UAT testing
- Strong experience coordinating testing process
- Significant stakeholder management
Desirable experience would also include:
- Reporting skills
- Stakeholder management
- Experience working with Business Analysts
- Experience using Project Management software Jira
