Head of Learning Product

Instinct is currently working with a long-standing client who are an esteemed EdTech organisation based in the London area. In recent years, they have grown and evolved to become a market leader in providing exceptional education experiences, and are now on the lookout for an experienced Head of Learning Product to lead in continuing their drive to provide exceptional learning experiences for their clients and partners.
The key responsibilities for this role will revolve around overseeing the organisations’ learning products from idea and creation stages all the way to delivery, always keeping in mind the exceptional standard required to be a market leading organisation within the learning technology space. Aside from this, the role holder would need to work and form relationships with key stakeholders, conduct market analysis to understand emerging trends, retain excellent knowledge of learning design theory to ensure pedagogically informed decision making, and follow entire product lifecycles to ensure work is delivered at pace and to an excellent quality. On the management side, this person would be responsible for managing a team of Learning Designers and a junior product staff member, ensuring their growth and achievement within the organisation over time.
The ideal person will have significant experience with:
- Building and design high quality education technology products
- Following the product management lifecycle from proposal and ideation to delivery stages
- Managing a team
- Learning Design principles and following pedagogical practise
- Proven ability of strategic thinking
- UX and product design
