Authoring tools are a variety of software that enable you to create and arrange different styles of structured course content.
The course can then be exported in several different forms of multimedia, the most common being SCORM format, which, is essentially a Zip folder capable of being uploaded to your chosen LMS (Learning Management System) to be opened via an internet browser by your recipient.
