Instinct is working with a long-standing client in the education space, who consistently rank high on various league tables. As leaders in various subject fields, they provide a broad range of programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels on specialist subjects such as Healthcare, Social Sciences, Business, and more. Having recently ventured into the fully digital programmes space, they are looking for a creative and detailed E-Learning Developer to join their team and support in the creation of high quality learning solutions.
As an E-Learning Developer, the successful post-holder will be tasked with working within a collaborative team to design and develop high quality digital learning programmes on a range of subject matter. While the scripting and storyboarding will mostly sit in a different team, there will still be some responsibility in this area of work (particularly in busier periods). Otherwise, the core responsibilities of the role will centre around working closely with academics and key stakeholders, and developing learning content directly into the Virtual Learning Environment (Canvas).
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working as a Digital Learning Designer and/or Developer
- Experience working with a Virtual Learning Environment
- Experience working with academics and internal/external stakeholders
- An understanding of legal and GDPR compliance when using 3rd party tools (desirable)
- Working knowledge of software's such as HTML and CSS (desirable)
- Creative ability with the use of tools such as within the Adobe Creative Suite
