Instinct is working with a long-standing client who are a large governing body for a specialist sector. Their members come from a range of backgrounds and are based across the world, as they rely on this organisation as a key body from which they are able to gain the suitable qualifications and credentials to progress in their chosen industries. Having gone through a company wide strategy-change to enhance the organisations digital learning provisions, they are now on the lookout for an LMS Manager to assist in the transition period moving from one Learning Management System to another.
This role will play a pivotal part in the organisations change in learning systems, and as such they are seeking an individual who has previously led on a platform migration of a similar scale. The day to day responsibilities will include managing the administration of the platform, working with cross-functional team members to assist with the full scale transition planning, and advising on strategy elements such as maintaining current user progress while migrating to the new platform. The position will also be well-immersed in the rest of the wider business activities related to digital learning strategy, and is a great opportunity to be involved at an exciting time of change for the organisation.
The ideal candidate will have experience in:
- High level admin for range of Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Managing the transition period for migrating from one LMS to another
- Being a key part of strategy planning for a platform migration and it’s necessary project lifecycle management
- Working with cross-functional teams
- Being a key point of contact for queries relating to the LMS
- Maintaining organisation and practising a strong attention to detail
